Mary Lyon Dinner and Annual Meeting
Thursday, February 28th, 2008, 6:30 PM at the Pond House Café, West Hartford

Join MHC alumnae and friends at the Pond House in West Hartford for our annual dinner. In honor of the 35th anniversary of Title IX, Laurie Priest, Director of Athletics and Chair of Physical Education will speak on the topic, "Gender Equity for Women in Sport: Are Our Sons and Daughters Being Treated Equally?" This is a great first event for Greater Hartford alumnae interested in learning more about the Club and for meeting other alums. We will also conduct a brief meeting to discuss club business. Only dues paying members and honorary members may vote, so get those dues in! All classes are welcome and encouraged to attend. Cost of the event includes hors d'oeuvres, salad, pasta, entree, dessert, wine, soda, coffee and tea. Please register online

Announcing Online Event Registration and Payments
In an effort to make it easier for our members to register for events, and to streamline the process for collecting dues and registration fees, the Club has created an online event registration website. This site also connects to PayPal, allowing members to pay dues and event registrations using credit cards or PayPal accounts. Please visit the online Membership Form to view the form, pay your dues if you have not done so, and register for the Mary Lyon Dinner. Instructions are available online. Coats and Clothes Drive
The club collects warm coats and clothes for students from warm climates. We also collect suits and 'career wear' for students to wear to interviews, internships and employment. Please look through your closets, and if you would like to make a donation, contact Noreen Kuziak or any of the board members. All donations should be clean and in good repair.
