Admissions Committee

Interested in getting involved with Mount Holyoke Admissions? Abby Egginton chairs an Admissions Committee to support efforts in our area. Current activities include attending college fairs and organizing an event in the fall for perspective students. The Committee also organizes the annual send-off in August and a get together for accepted students in April. Contact Abby to get involved.

Book Award Program

We have been very successful in our campaign for book award sponsors this year. Thank you to all of the alumnae who have so enthusiastically committed to this program!

Once again, we look forward to enrolling a new class of leading women to Mount Holyoke College. The Mount Holyoke Club of Hartford would like to extend an invitation to you to sponsor a book award for a Connecticut high school junior who demonstrates outstanding academic and leadership qualities.

We currently have 20 sponsors for various high schools in the greater Hartford area. We have 11 more schools available that have received book awards in the past and would like to receive an award for one of their students again this year.

The cost of the book award will be $35 per year, and the recommended sponsorship is for four years. However, you can choose the duration of your sponsorship.
